Why Purchase Travel Protection?
A quote for insurance is given online automatically on the payment page when making a reservation. This is prior to entering any payment information.

If you have already booked a cruise and did not purchase at that time and would like insurance, it can be added by logging in and viewing your itineraries.

Travel protection provides you with the necessary coverage to safeguard your travel “investment” from unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Illness or injury to your or a traveling companion or immediate family member causing you to cancel or interrupt your vacation
  • Jury duty
  • Job layoff or job termination (must be employed at least one year)
  • Terrorist events
  • Bankruptcy or default of your airline, cruise line or tour operation

Canceling a trip may cause you to lose all or part of your payment depending upon the cancellation penalties of your travel supplier(s).

Many travelers have little or not health protection while away from home. Does your health insurance cover you while you are traveling? How about air ambulance fees?

  • Travel Delay - $500
  • Emergency Medical/ Dental - $10,000

Wise travelers recognize the need to protect their trip investment.

We, as your travel agent, highly recommend the purchase of travel protection. Travel protection is designed to protect you from a host of events both before and during travel. That is why we proudly suggest you say, “I Travel Insured.”

Pre-Existing Conditions
The policy will not pay for losses or expenses incurred as a result of an injury or illness to the Insured Person which manifests itself during the sixty (60) days immediately preceding and including the Policy’s Effective Date, unless the condition is controlled through the taking of prescription drugs or medication and remains controlled throughout the sixty (60) day period.

Pre-Existing Condition Waiver
You can waive the Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion by purchasing this coverage within 14 days of the date of your initial trip deposit provided you are under age 70. If you are age 70 or above, your pre-ex condition might still be covered. Review the questions below. If you answered no, then your condition is coverable.

  • Were you treated for a new illness in the last 60 days?
  • Has your condition worsened or required medical attention in the past 60 days?
  • Have you received any new medications in the past 60 days; or have any of your current dosages been changed?

Example: I have diabetes and take medication on a daily bases. Will I be covered?
Yes, as long as you have not had a change in the required medication or dosage and your diabetes was under control (medically stable) during the 60 days before the coverage was purchased.
